About Tucker

I build revenue engines. I've never stopped running one.

Tucker Fitzgerald Cohen — founder of TC×2, founder of Smoov, five high-growth SaaS companies, six founder advisory seats, and a quota every single year since 2014.

The pattern

Build. Lead. Found. Advise. Sell.

Not a résumé — a loop. Five times inside high-growth companies and six times as an advisor, I've been the person who turns "we have a product and some early customers" into "we have a revenue engine." Here's the shape of it.

01

Build

Seismic · 2014–2017

Day one at Seismic there was a product, a thesis, and me — the first sales hire. Over three years I generated more than $3M in cold-sourced recurring revenue into strategic and Fortune 500 accounts, averaged roughly 175% of quota, and helped build the prospecting, qualification, and pipeline processes the team ran on as it grew from one toward forty. I trained and managed five of those reps. Seismic became the category leader in sales enablement. I went on to do the zero-to-one thing again.

02

Lead

Drift · Breezeway · 2018–2021

At Drift, employee ninety-something, I ran a book of fifty-plus agency partners — training them to sell, co-selling their biggest deals, managing their numbers — and learned how leveraged revenue actually works. Then Breezeway called: one of the first ten employees, build the commercial engine from scratch. As Head of Inside Sales I hired and led twelve reps while carrying my own quota, built the outbound motion end to end, ran the forecast, and installed Challenger and Sandler into how the team worked. ARR doubled in sixteen months. The sales cycle fell from 65 days to 27. Deal size grew more than 200%.

03

Found

Smoov · 2021–present

In 2021 I crossed to the other side of the table and founded Smoov, a consumer fintech for couples managing money together. Vision, brand, product positioning, go-to-market, fundraising, partnerships, creator-led distribution, paid acquisition — all of it, from zero to a launched product with 20M+ organic views and thousands of downloads. We built the company at Science, the Los Angeles startup studio, over six months in their program, and Spark Capital came onto the cap table through its scout program. Along the way I built and shipped 940 Saturdays, idea to live app in thirty days. Founding a company is the fastest way to find out which of your opinions about growth were actually true.

04

Advise

Six founder engagements · 2021–present

Interim Head of Sales. Sales Advisor. Growth Advisor. Six engagements across venture-backed and incubated startups, partnering directly with founders to build early GTM motions, sharpen positioning, create pipeline, recruit first sales hires, and set up repeatable process. Plus a seat in Underscore VC's Sales Core and a growth-advisor role with Offline Studio. TC×2 is that work, done on purpose.

05

Sell

Mindtickle · Highspot · 2023–present

Then I did something consultants rarely do: I went back onto the field. At Mindtickle I closed the fastest first deal in company history — forty days from start date to signature — and finished above quota. At Highspot I hit 100% of annual quota in year one with $1.3M+ in self-sourced TCV, managing fifty-plus accounts in seven-figure enterprise environments, with an AI-native workflow I now build into every playbook I leave behind. Advice from someone still closing is a different product than advice from someone who last sold a decade ago.

How I work

Field notes.

01

Player-coach, always.

Every leadership seat I've held, I held while carrying a quota. I build systems I personally run, which is why they survive contact with reality.

02

Read the conditions. Don't wait for the signal.

The best revenue — new logo or expansion — is built before the customer raises a hand. The craft is reading the signals in a market or a book of business, forming a point of view, and bringing the case to them. Nobody asked to grow 7×.

03

Playbooks over heroes.

Talent wins deals; systems win years. Everything I build — sequences, scripts, qualification, coaching rhythms, forecast discipline — is designed to make the tenth rep as effective as the first.

04

Methodology-grounded, not methodology-precious.

Formally versed in Challenger, Sandler, and MEDDIC; I've operationalized the first two across entire sales organizations. I use what fits the motion and ignore the rest.

05

AI-native by default.

Conversation intelligence, AI prospecting and enrichment, and LLMs are part of my daily workflow for research, personalization, pipeline hygiene, and deal prep. That leverage gets built into what I hand you.

06

Founder empathy, earned.

I've raised money, built product, bought media, and lost sleep over payroll. You get someone who has sat in your chair, not just sold to it.

The network

13,000+ connections. Not a megaphone — a map.

Years of relationships across SaaS, startups, venture, sales, and marketing. It isn't a promise of reach, and I don't treat it as one. It's a working knowledge of who's good at what, who's hiring, who's buying, and who should meet — and where it's useful to a client, I make the introduction.

Why TC×2

The name started as a joke.

Tucker Cohen. Technology Consulting. TC, twice. It stuck because the multiplier turned out to be the whole philosophy: strategy × execution. Founder vision × operator discipline. Brand × revenue. Either one on its own is a nice deck. Together they compound.

The through-line is the same one that runs through the work: read the conditions, commit to the line, do the reps.
